ADAPT announced as exclusive UK reseller for new HP Latex R2000 Rigid Printer

HP has announced that ADAPT (formerly Amari Digital Supplies and Graphic Printing Technologies) will be the exclusive UK reseller for its new HP Latex R2000 Rigid printer. Unveiled at FESPA 2018, the HP Latex R2000 is a true hybrid for flexible and rigid printing, accommodating materials up to 2.5-metres/98” wide and up to 5cm/2” thick.

The newly formed ADAPT has significant expertise in marketing rigid printing consumables and fulfilling associated flat sheet applications. The company also has a long history implementing and supporting HP Latex printing solutions. This experience has been instrumental in their selection as the ideal exclusive partner for the new HP Latex R2000.

ADAPT will create a dedicated HP Latex Rigid Printing Demo Centre in Manchester, which is scheduled to open in July of this year. This facility will offer customers the chance to see the technology in action and explore all the possibilities available to them.

Phil Oakley, UK and Ireland Regional Business Manager for HP, comments: “ADAPT was awarded as exclusive UK partner for the new HP Latex R2000 through a rigorous selection process and we are really pleased to have appointed them. Their unrivalled experience in the rigid sheet plastic market, coupled with excellent credentials in the traditional HP Latex market, makes this an ideal fit. ADAPT has demonstrated its commitment to this market with the planned opening of a demonstration facility specifically for our rigid printing solutions. This will give potential customers an excellent opportunity to learn more about this exciting new technology and help them select the best possible solution for them.”

The HP Latex R2000 Printer is the first hybrid solution for rigid and flexible sign and display printing in one device. HP announced its new rigid technology at the ISA Sign Expo in March, highlighting how customers will now be able to expand their offering into new, high-value applications while also opening fresh creative ideas and concepts for sign and display.

Richard Barham, General Manager of ADAPT, comments: “We are absolutely delighted to have been appointed as the exclusive reseller for this game-changing new printer from HP. As a company, we offer a unique combination of rigid media experience and expertise, as well as a long history of delivering complete HP Latex solutions to the UK large format digital printing market. We are encouraged by the confidence shown in ADAPT by HP and look forward to the opening of our dedicated HP Latex Rigid printing demonstration centre in July and delivering this exciting new product to the market.”

The HP Latex R2000 printer is available with immediate effect with a full service 3-year warranty, as well as a broad range of flexible financing options. This makes the purchase and ownership of the printer as seamless and trouble-free as possible.
