The award winning Leeds based company has installed a second Agfa inkjet printer just 18 months after investing in an Anapurna M3200i roll-to-roll.
This Jeti Mira is a six-colour plus white UV-inkjet printer offering impressive print quality, versatility and productivity as it prints up to 227 m²/hr.
Digital Plus decided it was time to plan for the future and looked for a replacement to its existing flatbed printers. The decision to invest in the Agfa Jeti Mira was based on the company’s positive experience with the Anapurna.
“The Jeti Mira was just what we were looking for and we selected the 3.2 x 2.7m larger format with primer and bolt-on roll-to-roll options. It is important that we stay ahead when it comes to technology and this printer provides the scope to meet our challenges for the foreseeable future,” explained Chris Stringwell, director of Digital Plus.
Digital Plus, which was founded nearly 20 years ago, operates from smart purpose-built premises and has a staff of twenty as well as a team of installers. Clients include many household brand names in the beauty and fashion markets as well as major banks, building societies, insurance companies and legal firms, utility companies, property developers, superstores, travel companies, museums, educational establishments and local authorities. A growing area of business is office refurbishment, which requires the use of a wide variety of substrates and finishes.
“We find dealing with Agfa very refreshing. They go to a great deal of trouble to ensure that we are happy and their service and support is first class. We have recently employed a new production manager and plan to utilise Agfa’s Asanti workflow to drive our printers and cutter,” enthused Owen Russell, director of Digital Plus.
Both the directors have a great deal of experience in colour reproduction and Digital Plus has built a reputation for quality, winning awards year after year, and Agfa is proud to be a preferred supplier.
