HP today announced that it will show a variety of HP Indigo, Scitex and Designjet products on its stand (Hall V, Stand 077) at PRINTexpo in Brno, Czech Republic (3-6 May 2011), providing visitors to the show with an insight into the potential applications and new business opportunities available across different market sectors with HP technology.
“HP’s presses and printers are designed to equip print service providers [PSPs] with productive solutions that enable them to offer cost-effective, cutting-edge digital print of the highest quality,” said Daniel Princ, sales and marketing manager large format printing, Central and Eastern Europe, HP. “Whether visitors are looking to expand their existing portfolio of products to include other commercial or large-format applications, or break into the digital printing market for the first time, they will find inspiring, profitable solutions on HP’s stand.”
The impressive line-up of digitally printed output on show includes high-value, short-run products that utilise the HP Indigo 7500 Digital Press’ variable data printing (VDP) capabilities, such as creative marketing materials, brochures and business cards. Also on display will be examples of high-quality gift products like personalised photobooks and calendars.
Demonstrating its capabilities live on the stand, the HP Indigo 7500 is a technologically advanced, high-volume sheet-fed solution that delivers offset look and feel and photo-quality reproduction. With speeds of up to 120 A4 pages per minute (ppm) in full colour or 240ppm in either monochrome or two colours and intelligent automation, the HP Indigo 7500 provides unprecedented productivity and ease of operation for PSPs looking to offer the latest marketing, book and photo products.
The selection of large-format applications on show will span innovative interior decoration solutions, ideal for retail, public and home environments, to promotional items such as POP, posters and backlit displays. HP Latex Printing Technologies enable the production of such applications and HP Latex Printers on show will include the proven HP Designjet L25500.
Featuring water-based HP Latex Inks, the HP Designjet L25500 Printer produces fast-drying, odourless(1) graphics suitable for immediate use outside or indoors, even in enclosed spaces, providing both environmental and competitive advantages. The combination of high print speeds and vibrant quality enable users to create marketing, retail and home interior products using a wide variety of substrates, such as wallpaper, textiles, self-adhesive vinyl and coated media.
Another must-see product on the HP stand will be the HP Scitex FB500 Printer. A robust UV flatbed solution, the HP Scitex FB500 enables printers, sign shops and large repro houses to say ‘yes’ to almost any customer request. Featuring a 163cm print width and optional white ink capabilities, the HP Scitex FB500 prints onto a host of rigid and flexible substrates, making room for unrestricted creativity and a greatly expanded applications offering.
Completing the selection of HP products at PRINTexpo is the HP Designjet Z6200 Photo Printer, which offers top photo quality for POP, backlit displays and stunning fine-art reproduction; the HP Designjet T2300 eMultifunction Printer (MFP); and the HP Designjet T7100 Printer. Both HP Designjet T series printers will demonstrate the production of highly-accurate architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) plots and scans. In addition, the HP Designjet T2300 eMFP will showcase the potential for improved business-to-business and business-to-consumer communications with the first web-ready printing system combined with MFP benefits.
(1) Printers using HP Latex Inks use internal heaters to dry and cure the latex polymer film. Some substrates may have inherent odour.
