Blackpool-based printing expert, PNG Digital, has helped one of the UK’s leading clothing suppliers achieve success at the London Marathon Expo.

The Virgin London Marathon Expo is a critical part of the London Marathon, giving participants the opportunity to collect their running numbers, running vests, stock up on energy bars and check out the latest sportswear and gadgets.

With a staggering attendance of over 70,000 visitors, this presented an unmissable opportunity for John Roberts Associates to promote their high performance Max Athlete and Max Velo bespoke clothing.

Once John Roberts Associates had committed to exhibiting at the Expo they needed to organise their display stand. After initially considering various exhibition display printers, their design agency, RTD Creative, recommended local print specialists PNG Digital who produce everything from exhibition displays to business cards and brochures.

John Roberts Associates were extremely impressed with PNG Digital. Caroline Wells, Graphic Designer from John Roberts Associates commented: “It made a real difference dealing with PNG Digital as they are a local company so we could discuss ideas and options with them face to face instead of just over the phone and by email. We were keen to keep our display simple but create a powerful impact and Mike Rawcliffe from PNG Digital was a great help, providing lots of advice on the best options for our first stand. We were delighted with the Mike’s recommendations and the print quality of the stand was fantastic.”

John Roberts Associates were alongside some major exhibitors such as the NSPCC, ASTHMA, Macmillan and many sportswear manufacturers including Adidas who were the official sponsor, plus health and nutrition specialists ZipVit and Clif Bar.

The audience comprised of everyone participating in the marathon, some of who were new to running and others who were world record holders and tri-athletes, plus their families and supporters.

Caroline continued: “It was such a vibrant and exciting event to be involved in. We spoke to people from Ireland, America, Canada and Australia, all of who had come to London to take part in the marathon. We received such a positive response to our stand that we’ve no hesitation in exhibiting again next year. With the amazing service we’ve received from PNG Digital we’ll certainly be utilising their print services again for promotional material and any further exhibition display advice.”
