Zünd UK will be a key exhibitor at Advanced Engineering UK this autumn, a must-visit show for British manufacturing businesses.
Appearing at the Composites Engineering Show portion of the event – taking place at Birmingham's NEC on November 4th and 5th 2015 – Zünd will demonstrate equipment ideally suited to composites processing in the aerospace, automotive, defence and architecture sectors, amongst others.
On show will be the Zünd S3 L1200CVE12, a fast, compact digital cutter capable of handling a wide variety of materials up to 25mm thick with modular tooling, with Zünd Cut Center software for easy and user-friendly operation, the automatic nesting system Autonest, and Capturez, a one-click digitising system for reverse engineering.
Zünd cutting tables are based on a modular design, enabling a unique configuration for each user and changes to be made retroactively. The Zünd
S3 on display at the Composites Engineering Show is therefore just an example of the many ways Zünd systems can be used and their potential applications; the Zünd team will be ready to answer any questions visitors have about their own R&D and manufacturing requirements.
"Zünd UK's digital cutting equipment is suited to a wide range of manufacturing processes and, as always, we're looking forward to meeting innovative businesses from across the country and to help them reach their full potential," says Peter Giddings, Sales Director, Zünd Plotting Systems
"The Composites Engineering Show is the perfect opportunity to see the exciting technology developments in the Zünd range and find out about how they can be used for a multitude of applications."
Zünd is a regular exhibitor at the Composites Engineering Show. In 2014, visitor Gould Engineering was so impressed with the Zünd S3 on display that it soon ordered a unit for its Berkshire HQ. As a specialist in pre-preg carbon fibre components for Formula 1 cars, Gould Engineering required a bespoke and easy-to-use machine with a rolling bed and nesting equipment to accelerate production.
