Insite Graphics aerial runway

As part of its service to both the organiser, Reed Exhibitions, and the exhibitors, Insite Graphics has delivered a 'runway' to connect two aircraft shows in Hamburg.

Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) and World Travel Catering & Onboard Services (WTCE), both of which ran between 5-7 April, 2016 in Hamburg Messe, Germany, were focused on services to the aircraft industry, and were held in adjacent halls connected by an aerial walkway.

Samantha Massey, group operations manager, Reed Exhibitions, explained: “The two halls are connected and we wanted a creative idea that linked the two related shows but echoed the overall theme and concept of both shows. We presented the challenge to Insite Graphics and, as usual, their creativity came to the fore and we are absolutely delighted with the final result.”

James Winzar, MD of Insite Graphics explained: “The floor graphics we designed and created turned the walkway into a show branded runway, that connected the two air travel related shows. With a high anticipated footfall over the walkway during the shows, the choice of material was critical. We were very satisfied with the results, and Aztec Event Services added the finishing touch with an audio track that played a soundtrack of aircraft landing and airport announcements, the overall effect was amazing.”

Insite Onsite was also deployed at the show, a service where Insite Graphics locates personnel, equipment and materials within the show to provide a fast turnaround service for the organiser and exhibitors.

“Insite Onsite provides a graphics facility that allows rapid design and print of graphics on the show floor; it facilitates changes to running orders, changes in signage and any last minute graphics needed by the organiser and exhibitor. In a live event environment there will always be something that changes, so by having resources on site, we can ensure that we're able to deliver on-site graphics services quickly and efficiently,” concluded Winzar.
