Roland DG will be attending this year's Media Expo Mumbai.

Following on from a year of successful product launches, Roland DG and Apsom Infotex, Master Distributor for India, will be attending Media Expo Mumbai.

Media Expo Mumbai is taking place on 23rd – 25th February 2017 at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (E), Mumbai.

On stand B10, Hall 6, attendees will be met with the latest Roland DG wide-format technology, including the new TrueVIS VG and SG series of printer/cutters, marking their inaugural unveiling in Mumbai.

The TrueVIS VG series has already been awarded the title 'Best Wide Format Print & Cut Solution' at the prestigious European Digital Press (EDP) Awards 2016. With four new FlexFire print heads working in combination with vibrant TrueVIS Ink, the VG Series delivered stunning print quality in a choice of 3 ink configurations:

  • CMYK(x2) – Dual CMYK for maximum productivity
  • CMYKLcLmLk – Light Cyan, Light Magenta and Light Black for fine details and smooth gradations
  • CMYKLcLmLk+W – White ink allows for enhanced printing on dark or clear substrates.

The VG series also boasts new cutting technology with increased downforce and accuracy along with a redesigned rigid chassis with a distinctive new shape. Delivering high quality, dynamic results at a high speed, the VG series is ideal for banners, decals, signage and posters.

Launched in September 2016, the TrueVIS SG series of CMYK printer/cutters is ideal for new or developing businesses. With two FlexFire print heads and new cutting technology, the SG was developed for reliability, quality and profitability. Available in 54” and 30” print widths, the SG series allows businesses to create versatile CMYK prints without sacrificing productivity being 60%* faster than previous models.

Running at high speed, the EJ-640 can easily produce up to 102m2 of media in just one hour – and supports heavy roll media up to 40kg.

Offering visitors a print-only alternative, the VersaEXPRESS RF-640A will also be available for demonstration on the stand, offering economical high speed print; delivering vibrant prints at speeds up to 48.5m2/hr. The four colour printer provides businesses with a simple solution for the production of banners, posters and large scale decals.

Finally, Roland DG’s newest UV primer technology will be launching in India at Media Expo Mumbai, offering attendees the chance to preview the updated VersaUV LEF-300, including brand new ECO-UV primer designed for the customisation of even more substrates. The next generation of Roland DG’s successful VersaUV LEF series, developed with versatility in mind, gives businesses the opportunity to produce numerous luxury effects utilising ECO-UV ink, including Gloss and White options.
