Avery Dennison Graphics and Reflective Solutions has formulated new Avery® MPI 7000 Perforated Window Films to bring added features and benefits in conversion characteristics for a self-adhesive graphics market that is growing exponentially. No longer the preserve of bus and tram campaign advertising over glass windows, one-way-vision inkjet-printable self-adhesive films are today enjoying extended use in many different applications – including durable vehicle graphics and building ‘wraps’.
Avery MPI 7000 Perforated Window Films are offered in a simplified range of just four qualities which, together, meet the various different application needs. Top of the range is Avery MPI 7101 PWF -- a premium 180 micron gloss calendered vinyl film with a 2mm perforation, offering 50% open area, designed specifically for durable, architectural graphics and building ‘wraps with up to 36 months’ durability. Also offering up to 36 months’ durability, Avery MPI 7201 PWF is formulated for vehicle graphics and long-term public transport advertising. A 180 micron gloss white calendered vinyl with a 1.5mm perforation, it also offers a 50% open area. Avery MPI 7301 – a white gloss calendered 140 micron vinyl -- delivers up to 24 months’ durability for architectural and vehicle graphics, with a 1.5mm perforation and 40% open area. The three films are suitable for application to both flat surfaces and over simple curves.
Innovative release liner technology
These three premium products in the new Avery MPI 7000 Perforated Window Films also feature a new release liner technology that delivers full printed image view while laminated to the liner, extra layflatness for smooth, speedy conversion, and a liner imprint for authentication purposes.
Completing the new range is an economical, promotional-grade product, Avery MPI 7401, a 100 micron gloss white calendered film with a 1.5mm perforation and 40% open area, which comes with a standard white PET liner.
All four products feature an acrylic-based adhesive, offering removability – especially from glass substrates -- for up to one year.
The new Avery MPI 7000 Perforated Window Films range is now available ex-stock from Avery Graphics distributors throughout Europe, from whom full details are also available. www.europe.averygraphics.com.
