FESPA 2017 exceeded all expectations with over 1000 exhibitors spread across 10 halls of the iconic Messe Centre in Hamburg. The very latest technology was on show and many exciting innovations ushered in a new era for digital print and graphics provision.
Gathering a huge amount of interest amongst visitors was the major new innovation from leading Italian digital cutting system manufacturer, Elitron, who were showcasing their latest solutions for production automation.
These Elitron developments provide seamless integration allowing the latest digital technologies to work together efficiently in order to speed up the production of high demand, yet low-volume bespoke jobs.
To demonstrate how its new production automation system can give operators a competitive edge in a digital print market that is hungry for bespoke individually customised graphics, Elitron linked together the new KOMBO SDC+ 3.2 wide format cutting table with the Heleva smart feeder and the upgraded KOMBO TH double gantry finishing solution. Visitors were then treated to a live display of state-of-the-art production that perfectly demonstrated how Elitron’s automated and cost-effective integration process was not only faster but also flexible enough to meet the diverse needs of the most demanding bespoke clients.
Throughout the FESPA exhibition, the new Elitron automated production system proved itself to have the flexibility required to match the demands of this new era of low-volume, high speed, bespoke output, and the increased call for personalised printed products. These Elitron developments will help to unlock the true potential of the latest digital print technology, and equip users to meet the growing demand for mass customisation.
Elitron’s technology is ready to accept the bespoke print challenge, are you?
