Hertfordshire based Projects & Print has acquired 11,500 sq feet of new premises in Tring and invested in a new Anapurna RTR3200i LED 6-colour 3.2 metre wide printer with Asanti workflow to increase its production capabilities.
Projects & Print first invested in an Anapurna M2500i 6-colour hybrid printer in 2014, and at that time the company was considering a move to larger premises. Although the search has taken a few years, the new premises in Tring is twice the size of the old and comfortably accommodates the 3.2 and 2.5 Anapurna printers as well as a new cutter together with a host of other equipment.
“In the last three years our business has grown by around 50% and there was a real need to increase space. The move to the new premises was a big step but in the short time we have been here we can see that we are much more productive without the need to employ more staff. And now, with the new Anapurna print output has also significantly increased,” explained Richard Barrett, Managing Director.
The company is a trade supplier to agencies and designers providing a 24/7 nationwide service installing an extensive range of exhibition, display and signage to companies such as Network Rail, Samsung, Costa Coffee and the De Vere Hotel Group.
“Meeting the needs of our clients is our major priority which has lead to us growing organically, and each year we have made a significant investment back into our business,“ stated Barrett.
In the past few years the company has expanded its services producing building wraps for the construction industry as well as graphics and signage for interior design agencies. A number of these customers request that Projects & Print staff attend face-to-face meetings with their clients to provide expertise and give reassurance on time-pressured projects.
“The Anapurna M2500 has been totally reliable producing quality results on rigid or flexible material. The new 3.2m RTR Anapurna has only just been installed but is already making a significant impact by increasing output. Its LED lights have a much longer working life and by managing every job we print Asanti reduces costly mistakes before printing. Agfa has also made colour calibrations to our own requirements so we can print on either machine and achieve the same results,” enthused Chris Parker, Operations Director.
Increasingly large corporate companies are requiring their print suppliers to have an accredited colour management solution in place so they can be sure of image quality and consistency. As a cutting-edge production hub, Asanti automatically generates colour settings and controls for multi-device consistency.
“We have invested heavily in our business and our clients know they can trust and rely on us as we can with Agfa. The build quality of Anapurna printers is fantastic and service and support is second to none,” concluded Barrett.
