Visitors to the euromedia world of experience at FESPA Digital 2011 will be able to see the latest materials and endless applications on offer from Fujifilm (Hall A4, Stand B10). The 650-plus euromedia range will be demonstrated in a dynamic environment where visitors will be able to experience for themselves just how innovative, versatile, sustainable and cost-effective it is.

euromedia application experts will be on hand to demonstrate the most recent additions to the range, including Free Tack, Free Laminate, Street Vinyl, Excellight Night & Day and Solvent RollFlat, which will be presented on the Show-Off Wall, the Display Wall and in the Test Drive area, where visitors can see how these substrates perform on various surfaces.

Free Tack and Free Laminate

The latest additions to the ‘green media’ substrate range are the self-adhesive, PVC-free Free Tack film, suitable for all smooth surfaces, and PVC-free Free Laminate. Free Tack can be printed with all conventional inks except water-based (Solvent, Eco-Solvent, Latex and UV) and, when used together with Free Laminate, has an outdoor durability of up to 36 months.

Street Vinyl

Also suitable for outdoor use is the new Street Vinyl for rough surfaces. This is thanks to a special adhesive that ensures that the vinyl adheres perfectly in outdoor applications while also having the ability to be easily removed without leaving any residue. Street Vinyl is suitable for UV, Solvent, EcoSolvent and Latex inks and is currently the most durable medium for adhesion on asphalt.

Excellight & Solvent RollFlat

Innovative backlit media Excellight ‘Night & Day’ is another great addition to the euromedia range, promising brilliant colours in any 24 hour period due to a special coating that provides full depth of colour and a contrast-rich printed image. FESPA will also be the showcase for a new premium quality display medium called Solvent RollFlat, which comes in a satin finish with reverse grey to minimise translucence. Even after countless uses, Solvent RollFlat continues to offer excellent, long-lasting lay-flat properties, and this material is also available with a coating for water-based printers.
