Ilford has announced the European availability of the OMNIJET Display Trans Media Kit which offers a photo-quality, cost-effective alternative to traditional backlit silver halide displays.
Competitively priced against traditional silver halide products, the Ilford OMNIJET Display Trans Media Kit produces photo-quality backlit displays without
the need for wet chemical processing. The OMNIJET Display Trans Media Kit has been developed in association with Epson and has been optimised for the popular Epson Stylus Pro 11880.
Sign and display producers who formerly created traditional silver halide backlit displays will benefit from the reduced physical footprint of inkjet printing, as well as increased workflow efficiency achieved through printing backlit displays with their regular wide-format aqueous printers. Ilford OMNIJET Display Trans Media Kit produces impeccable image quality even in dense black areas and skin tones and is perfectly adapted for use in the latest generation of backlit display devices.
The OMNIJET Display Trans media kit consists of photo-quality translucent display film and two rolls of laminates for front and back hot lamination. The rolls are available in 127cm and 152cm widths to match traditional silver halide widths and come in 40 metre lengths for optimal productivity.
In addition two levels of profiles have been developed for both Caldera and Onyx RIPs to offer either maximum quality or maximum productivity depending on the final nature of the output.
