Mark, owner of the Huddersfield franchise on Leeds Road, has been racing cars for many years since picking up the bug from go-karting as a child and competed in his first racing championship in 2007.
The Ginetta Supercup is the car manufacturer’s flagship championship and comprises of eight competitive rounds across the year. Mark recently finished third in the Ginetta Supercup’s race at Oulton Park racing track and is on course for more success as the competition continues.
When he’s away from the tracks, Mark runs the signage and visual communications specialist franchise, which he set up with his family after leaving college 11 years ago and now owns himself.
“It’s a real adrenaline rush when you get behind the wheel,” explained Mark. “I’m lucky to have a brilliant team working with me to make sure everything runs smoothly each race. The community in the championship is very close but it can get very competitive – especially when there’s barely half a second between places!”
