On Stand A50, Graphtec GB will demonstrate new, recently launched and existing plotter/cutters for a wide range of sign and graphics and digital printing applications.

These will be shown running on the latest Graphtec Pro Studio dedicated software. This is based on the popular FlexiSign family of design and production software developed by SAi for which Graphtec GB is a preferred business partner and distributor in the UK and Ireland.

A new addition to the CE series of roll-fed machines will be the entry-level CE LITE-50 desktop-mounted cutter. In comparison with other similarly positioned and priced machines, it offers a faster cutting speed of 500mm/sec and a 50cm-wide roll media handling facility. As with all Graphtec cutters, the CE LITE-50 incorporates Graphtec’s latest proprietary Version 7 of the ARMS (Automatic Registration Mark Sensing) system that provides radically enhanced media plotting and cutting accuracy.

The CE6000 Plus is a further new addition to the CE series and incorporates new and enhanced features to enable higher productivity levels. Due to its electronic design and method of manufacture, it is also a ‘greener’ solution that will minimise lifetime environmental impact.

The FCX2000 is the latest flatbed cutting solution for both flexible and rigid materials. It features a twin-head cutting and creasing tool configuration that will enable both functions to be carried out simultaneously as well as removing the need for machine owners to purchase expensive cutting dies.

The flagship FC8600 cutter is described as a genuine workhorse solution that provides a cutting speed of 1,400mm/sec, maximum acceleration of 4.0G and a selectable cutting force ranging from 20 up to 600G. These combined features enable the more efficient processing of harder materials such as high-density reflective and sandblast and twin-layered coloured masking films.

Completing the Graphtec GB presence will be the renamed F-Mark automatic digital die-cutting machine. Based on the popular Graphtec CE6000-40 plotter/cutter and dedicated software, the F-Mark can be used for a wide range of print and cut applications, including short-run label production for which the machine is especially suited, digital prints and packaging. A key benefit of the machine is that the die-cutting process is carried out automatically so that owners do not have to purchase expensive dies.
