Fisher Textiles, a PRINTING United Alliance member, wins 3 Pinnacle Awards for innovation in Textile Canvas, Flag, and Framing Systems, 2025

Fisher Textiles, a leading supplier of fabric for digital printing and PRINTING United Alliance corporate supplier member, is proud to announce it has been awarded three 2025 Pinnacle Awards, recognizing the company’s outstanding innovation in the Media—Textile— Canvas, Media—Textile—Flag and Media—Textile—Framing Systems (Backlit) categories. The Pinnacle Awards are the printing industry’s most prestigious honor, celebrating exceptional products and technologies that advance quality, capability, and productivity.

GF4303 Eco Canvas, winner of Media—Textile—Canvas, is a U.S.-made, 65% polyester/35% cotton blend canvas designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, archival print media at an accessible price point. Featuring a clean square weave and durable acrylic coating, this canvas delivers outstanding image clarity, color vibrancy, and longevity—making it ideal for high-volume fine art reproductions, photography, home furnishings, and upscale retail signage. This canvas combines the look and feel of traditional cotton with the added durability and consistency of polyester. It is compatible with UV, latex, and solvent printers, weighs 10 oz/yd2, and is stocked in 126-inch wide rolls.

Launching at PRINTING United Expo, DD7703 Lined Flag, winner of Media— Textile—Flag, is a lightweight, 5.6 oz/yd2 outdoor fabric that combines a printable face with an integrated Silver Flag liner—eliminating the need for a separate light-blocking layer. This innovative one-step solution reduces material and labor costs while delivering sharp prints, excellent opacity, and durability. Ideal for street pole banners, feather flags, and two-sided displays, it supports large-format printing up to 126-inches wide with fewer seams and faster production. Compatible with dye sub (transfer and direct) and UV-curable printing, it offers exceptional versatility and efficiency.

Also launching at PRINTING United Expo, DD1001 Impression Backlit, winner of Media—Textile—Framing Systems (Backlit), is an advanced printable polyester fabric designed for backlit framing systems. Though it appears muted initially, it delivers stunning vibrancy when backlit—thanks to low ink absorption and excellent color depth. Designed for high-speed, cost-sensitive environments, it uses significantly less ink without compromising quality. Soft, stretchy, and smooth with minimal fuzz, it also resists ink rub-off for cleaner production. At 5.9 oz/yd2 and 126-inches wide, it is compatible with dye sub (transfer and direct) and UV-curable printing—offering a premium alternative to traditional knit backlit fabrics.

“A special note of congratulations to Fisher Textiles and all those honored this year for their outstanding work in the 2025 Pinnacle Awards Program,” said Lindsay Ferrari, Program Administrator, PRINTING United Alliance. “Each Pinnacle Award recipient reflects the bold thinking and technical excellence that continues to elevate and move our industry forward.”
