Clarity Software aims to continue its growth by being a customer-focused, trusted partner for the sign and print industry.

Inktavo Group, a global provider of integrated software solutions for branded merchandise businesses, acquired Clarity Software, creator of the UK’s leading Management Information System (MIS)  for the sign and print industry. To mark the first anniversary of the acquisition, Clarity has announced that the increased investment has resulted in faster product innovation and improved customer service through expanded client-focused operations.

Clarity has leveraged the increased resources of Inktavo to implement a robust product development and customer-focused business strategy to meet the evolving needs of the UK sign and print industry. The company has restructured to create dedicated teams focused on delivering high-quality onboarding and customer support, and Inktavo has provided support to accelerate product development.

Sam Yarnall, Sales and Marketing Director for Clarity Software, explains, “We have been the leading MIS provider for the UK sign and print market for many years, and our goal is to build even further on this position. We have always been committed to continuous product development, and over the last year, we have super-charged this commitment thanks to the additional support and investment from Inktavo.”

A major focus for Clarity has been the significant developments made on its cloud-based product, Clarity Go. “It is very important to our ongoing growth and development that our cloud-based system matches and exceeds the functionality, capabilities and benefits of our established on-premise/hosted Clarity Pro software,” says Sam, adding, “We aim to give our customers a smooth and confident transition to the cloud, so they can enjoy all the benefits of remote, flexible and fully integrated working.”

Supporting the Clarity Pro community

Clarity recognises that while cloud-based solutions like Clarity Go offer many advantages, there are plenty of valid reasons why some businesses, especially larger or more complex operations, may choose to remain on a non-cloud (hosted or on-premise) solution like Clarity Pro.

“While Clarity Go is the future for most of our customers, we fully recognise and support the businesses who choose to remain with Clarity Pro. We’re fully committed to supporting that platform to meet their ongoing needs for as long as it’s required,” says Sam.

She explains, “Many of our larger customers have complex production environments, multiple departments, or legacy systems integrated with Clarity Pro. These often include custom configurations or workflows developed specifically for their operations over many years. For these customers, migrating to a cloud platform requires significant planning and development to ensure continuity and compatibility, which understandably makes them more cautious about transitioning.”

Business objectives

Clarity Software aims to continue its growth by being a customer-focused, trusted partner for the sign and print industry. “Our software goes to the very core of how businesses in our industry operate and succeed,” says Sam. “We strive to be the brand that sign and print companies know, love and rely on every day to manage and grow their businesses. Our solutions work in the real world because they are built around the everyday needs of our customers.”

She continues, “To best support our customers, we need to understand them and their business and evolve with them. That’s why we are committed to being a human, approachable company with real people behind our support desks and sales teams. We offer much more than simply great software solutions. From Clarity, you get genuine support and personalised guidance every step of the way.”

Sam reiterates Clarity Software’s strategy, “We are listening closely to customer feedback and using this to shape our roadmap and ensure our products continue to deliver meaningful benefits. Thanks to our additional resources, we are rapidly adding these features and enhancements to Clarity Go, which enables more of our existing customers to transition to the cloud at their own pace, as well as creating a smooth path for bringing new customers onboard. At the same time, we are supporting those customers who choose to continue operating on Clarity Pro.”

She concludes, “These are exciting times for Clarity and our customers. We’ve never been in a stronger position, and we are putting all these resources into delivering the most comprehensive business management products in the industry, backed up by incredible, customer-focused support.”
