Tecnau is set to showcase its latest solutions at PRINTING United Expo 2025, October 22–24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The show brings together the entire print ecosystem, and Tecnau (Booth 2621), along with Sitma, will demonstrate three live production lines featuring advanced digital print finishing and packaging capabilities.
Revolution 50 AutoSetup
Tecnau’s Revolution 50 AutoSetup system will demonstrate how print providers can move easily between applications with automatic format changes on the fly, with no downtime and no operator intervention. By eliminating manual setups, printers gain faster throughput, less waste, and simplified workflows.
Key highlights include:
- Automated full-bleed cutting with dynamic web imposition changes
- Datamatrix-driven switchovers, enabling 1-up to 4-up output without interruptions
- Reduced operator workload and lower skill requirements, helping businesses cope with labor shortages
Tecnau thanks its partners Canon & Ricoh for supplying printed rolls for demonstrations, showcasing direct mail and commercial print applications respectively. Ricoh’s Pro VC80000 and Canon’s ProStream provided the print, and each are available for inline integration with the Revolution 50 AutoSetup, in addition to available offline configuration.
Tecnau Stack 1212 with Kompac Phoenix 20 Coater
For sheet-fed workflows, Tecnau will present the Stack 1212 cut & stack system inline with the Kompac Phoenix 20 S coater. Together, they allow users to coat, cut, trim, and stack B2+ sheets in a single pass with no manual handling required. The Stack 1212 demonstration will show how coated sheets become finished postcards directly off the line, with support for multiple applications including letters, brochures, books, and calendars.
Advantages for print providers:
- Eliminates offline guillotine labor with automated B2 sheet finishing
- Compact footprint that conserves valuable floor space
- Runs up to 6,000 input sheets per hour and supports up to 350 gsm stocks
Tecnau thanks its partner HP Indigo for supplying printed B2 sheets for demonstrations, showcasing a 9-up 6×9 postcard application. Tecnau also thanks Holmen for supplying Iggesund Invercote 13.6 PT sheets for this application.
Sitma Sustainable Packaging
Finally, don’t miss the corner dedicated to Sitma, where you’ll discover how sustainable, right-sized packaging can be integrated directly into digital print and finishing workflows. Sitma’s e-Wrap system offers automated on-demand packaging tailored to the specific dimensions of each product, reducing material use, lowering shipping costs, and supporting eco-friendly operations. It’s a smart choice for companies seeking to optimize logistics and meet rising expectations for sustainability.
“PRINTING United Expo remains one of the most important gatherings in our industry,” said Francis McMahon, President and CMO, Tecnau. “It’s not only about presenting new technologies — it’s about listening, engaging, and showing how finishing and packaging can work hand in hand with digital print to deliver smarter workflows, higher productivity, and more sustainable results.
