swissQprint UK will host an Open House at its Bracknell site on 22–23 April 2026, giving print service providers and industrial businesses the opportunity to see the flatbed Generation 5 running live in a production setup. The event focuses on productivity, integrated workflow performance and profitable application development.
At the centre of the Open House is the flatbed Generation 5, demonstrated in a live production environment. Visitors will experience high-speed 8×4 output, FSDU and display production, embellished packaging, relief and texture printing, as well as roll to roll applications, illustrating consistent throughput and versatility.
“Our goal is to demonstrate performance in practical terms,” said Erskine Stewart, Managing Director of swissQprint UK. Stressing that productivity today is not just about print speed but about how hardware, workflow and expertise interact, he added: “The goal is to create a streamlined, scalable production model, and that is exactly what we will be showing.”
Automation, control and clarity across production
Alongside the hardware demonstrations, swissQprint will present integrated workflow solutions in collaboration with three partners: Caldera, OneVision and printIQ. The focus is on how automation, data flow and production management tools contribute directly to efficiency, cost control and operational clarity.
Caldera will showcase its RIP and pre-press solutions, CalderaRIP and PrimeCenter, which help manage and streamline large format production. OneVision will present its modular workflow solution, including a comprehensive file preparation package that enables seamless automation and greater production control throughout the print production process. printIQ will demonstrate its MIS, developed to streamline estimating, production and financial workflows while providing real-time visibility and scalability to support business growth.
UK support and practical training beyond the event
The Open House also underlines swissQprint’s UK-based support. Attendees will meet the local technical and application team and gain insight into the company’s UK infrastructure designed to ensure continuity and responsiveness.
In addition, all attending companies will be offered access to complimentary specialist pre-press training for relief and texture printing, valued at over £500. Scheduled after the event, the training will focus on practical production techniques that can be applied regardless of the printer platform in use.
The swissQprint Open House takes place on 22 and 23 April 2026 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the company’s demonstration centre in Bracknell, RG12 9BG. Visitors may attend at any time during the day, with the full programme designed to be experienced within approximately two hours.
