Ahead of PRINTING United Expo 2026, the Durst Open Software Initiative (OSI) has announced that GMG Americas has joined its growing partner network as an authorised reseller, expanding access to OSI’s open and modular software portfolio across the Americas. The partnership brings together GMG’s recognised expertise in colour management, print production and customer support with the Open Software Initiative’s mission to provide print service providers with an open software ecosystem that connects technologies, devices and production environments across different brands. As part of the partnership, GMG Americas will offer customers access to key solutions within the OSI portfolio, including Prepare, the browser-based solution for automated prepress and PDF preparation, and Produce, the high-performance RIP and colour management solution incorporating GMG advanced colour technology.

GMG expands into open workflow automation
GMG has long paired its industry-leading colour management technology with best-in-class production workflow partners, and the OSI portfolio adds another strong, open option to that ecosystem, extending GMG Americas’ capabilities into automated prepress, RIP processing and broader production workflow automation.
