Konrad Zawieska has joined CMYK Europe as European Service Manager. He brings more than 20 years of large format technical and field service expertise to the company’s growing European operation.
The appointment marks the group’s expansion beyond its home market, building on the success, scale, and reputation the business has already established in the UK and Ireland.
Konrad joins from TALAWIN, where he was Senior Service Engineer following previous engineering positions with Gandy Digital and Agfa. In the last decade, his field-based work has taken him across Europe and further afield, from the US to Japan, giving him broad experience of supporting customers across a wide range of markets and environments.
Konrad’s expertise covers the full lifecycle of customer support around new equipment, from pre-installation preparation and machine installation to operator training and ongoing technical support. In addition to production equipment, he also brings a great deal of knowledge of workflow software and RIPs, as well as supporting sales teams with technical consultation around machine capability and application requirements.
Builds European service team and installs base
In his new role, Konrad will help establish and develop CMYK Europe’s technical service division, working alongside the sales function to support machinery installations throughout the region. His initial focus will include support for JWEI cutting and finishing systems. A central part of his brief will be to build a strong technical team to support customers and sales activity across Europe.
A large part of Konrad’s interest is joining CMYK Europe is the opportunity to help build something new within a business group that already has strong momentum and an established reputation.
