His appointment follows Pureprint’s 2024 acquisition of Ashford Press and upgrades at Gosport and Uckfield digital sites.

Pureprint Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Glenn Hylands as Group Operations Director, a newly created role introduced as we enter our centennial year and continue to scale our digital capability.

Glenn joins Pureprint from CPI, where he spent two decades building deep expertise across digital manufacturing. His experience includes leading multiple production sites, installing next-generation inkjet and bindery technologies, and delivering major workflow transformations, including championing print-on-demand innovation for the publishing sector.

In his new role, Glenn will be focusing on integrating Pureprint’s expanding digital print sites and driving key Group-wide operational projects.

His appointment follows Pureprint’s acquisition of Ashford Colour Press in late 2024, a specialist in inkjet and publishing markets, alongside significant investment and upgrades across both our Gosport and Uckfield digital platforms.

As we strengthen capability and connectivity across these sites, Glenn will help shape the next phase of growth in our on-demand and digital offering for publishers, online brands, and emerging markets as we look ahead to 2026.

Statement from Mark Handford, CEO, Pureprint Group

“We’re delighted to welcome Glenn to the Pureprint team. His depth of experience in inkjet manufacturing and the publishing sector is a fantastic addition, particularly following our acquisition of Ashford Colour last year. Glenn’s expertise complements our existing teams as we continue to build our expanding digital and on-demand offering across both our Uckfield HQ and Gosport sites. Bringing our manufacturing sites closer together is a key focus for the year ahead, and Glenn will play an important role in driving that.”

Statement from Glenn Hylands

“I’m delighted to be joining Pureprint. The business has an impressive reputation for quality and innovation, and the opportunity to contribute to its next stage of evolution is genuinely exciting.”

Glenn’s appointment is the latest in a series of newly created Group roles at Pureprint, following the arrivals of Helen Graham as Head of Group Bids and Andy Lydiatt as Director of Strategic Growth earlier this year. These appointments reflect Pureprint’s continued investment in strengthening its team as the business enters its centennial year
