The Displayways Group has completed a significant programme of investment and strategic development over the past 12 months, reinforcing its position as a leading visual consultancy and production partner to the creative industries.
The Group has invested £1.1 million in new production technology, including the installation of a SwissQ Nyala 4, an EFI VUTEk M3h, a Mimaki JV330-160 and a Pirahna CNC routing machine. These investments complement the company’s existing large format printing and finishing factories and further strengthen its ability to deliver complex, high-quality visual solutions at scale.
To support the installation of the Pirahna CNC, Displayways has also constructed a new dedicated production area at its South London headquarters, enhancing workflow efficiency and increasing overall production capacity.
In addition to equipment investment, the Group has expanded its strategic capabilities through the acquisition of MGK Design in December 2025. The business, founded and led by Marcus King, specialises in the design and fit-out of interior environments, designing the look and feel, signage and graphic dressing for the likes of Flight Club and Compass Facilities Management. Previously based in Tolworth, MGK Design has now been fully integrated into Displayways’ head office in Earlsfield, SW18.
The acquisition strengthens the Group’s ability to deliver end-to-end visual consultancy, from concept development and design through to production and installation. This expanded capability supports Displayways’ long-term strategy to act as a trusted production and delivery partner to creative agencies, brands, architects, exhibition designers, Museums, Visitor Centres, and experiential specialists.
Rob Kelly, CEO, The Displayways Group of Companies
“Over the past year we have made one of the most significant investment commitments in the company’s history. This is not simply about adding machinery — it is about strengthening our ability to support the creative sector with deeper technical expertise to support our consultancy approach, greater capacity and faster delivery. Our ambition is to be seen not just as a manufacturer, but as a strategic visual partner to the agencies and brands we work with.
The acquisition of MGK Design marks an important step in the evolution of the Group. By bringing design-led interior expertise into the business, we can now support clients earlier in the creative process and provide a more integrated consultancy offer.”
Marcus King, Director, MGK Design
“Joining The Displayways Group gives us access to an exceptional level of production capability that is greater than our own and project delivery experience. This allows us to expand the scope of what we can offer clients while maintaining the design integrity that has always been central to our work.”
By combining consultancy, project management and advanced manufacturing expertise, The Displayways Group continues to position itself as an agile partner to the creative world — enabling clients to realise ambitious visual ideas with confidence, technical precision and commercial reliability.
