West London-based signage and large format print specialist Octink has been awarded the Investors in People Bronze award in recognition of the company’s commitment to continually developing, supporting and motivating its staff.

Mike Freely, Managing Director of Octink, says, “At Octink our people are at the heart of everything we do – whether that is producing signage for an event or project managing the creation of a property marketing suite. As a result, we constantly strive to put our people first. We have held Investors in People accreditation since 2004, so to have had our commitment to our people recognised with the Bronze award makes us really proud.”

The Bronze award is achieved by only 5% of Investors in People recognised organisations in the UK. It is awarded to organisations that demonstrate an additional 26 or more pieces of evidence above the Investors in People core Standard.

According to Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, “Achieving the Investors in People Bronze standard is something that any organisation should be truly proud of. It is the sign of a company which is truly committed to good people.”

Octink, which is one of the UK’s leading producers of signage, graphics and decorated interiors for clients in the retail, live event and commercial and residential property sectors, was first accredited by Investors in People in 2004 and has retained this accreditation throughout the interceding 10 years.

The company fully supports learning and development, as well as offering staff at all levels opportunities to work across different areas of the business and take on new responsibilities. In addition to this, one of the ways in which the company maintains high levels of motivation is through regular and transparent updates to the staff about business development and future plans. As a result, Octink employees not only enjoy working at the company, but they also trust their colleagues and are enthused about its future.
