Signs Express Birmingham SW sponsored the BAM construction team in its bid to cycle from Vietnam to Cambodia to raise money for Children’s Charity, Acorns.
Acorns Children’s hospice Trust is a registered charity offering a network of care for life limited and life threatened children across England. The BAM team braved extreme weather conditions with soaring temperatures and monsoon rain, but managed to push through to the end. The BAM cycling team – wearing shirts emblazoned with the Signs Express logo – rode over 400km and raised a fantastic total of £115,000. This money will help Acorns to meet the cost of care for over 600 life limited children and their families.
Signs Express Birmingham SW Director, Joe Smith comments, “We were very pleased to donate to such a worthwhile cause. Signs Express has completed a number of projects with BAM, usually on School and College projects, and was asked to support this fundraising by Project Manager Alan Bell.”
