On Friday 23rd October, Antalis raised £4,500 for Breast Cancer Now charity, by supporting their annual ‘Wear it Pink’ Day campaign. Antalis is proud to be a part of the campaign and has been supporting the ‘Wear it Pink’ days for over 10 years.
Antalis employees raised money for the charity by participating in numerous activities on the day. One of the activities included the Antalis Pink Mile where all departments took part and kept a continuous loop around the perimeter of the Antalis Head Office, for 12 continuous hours. Employees walked ran, hopped, skipped and even roller skated around the one mile route throughout the 12 hour period and in total completed 90 miles. Generous employees, customers, suppliers, family and friends supported the Antalis Pink Mile by sponsoring via the online JustGiving form: www.justgiving.com/TheAntalisPinkMile/
Employees donated £1 each to ‘dress down’ and wear pink clothes, with some even spending the day in fancy dress.
There was a raffle held Antalis’ Head Office in Coalville with all prizes kindly donated by extremely generous suppliers which included an Apple iWatch, 2 Kindles, hundreds of pounds in various gift cards, champagne, an iPad, iPods, hampers and many more prizes. Antalis also donated £1 for every customer order placed on the day for Conqueror and Vibac Products. There was also a paper plane competition, fancy dress competition, the Antalis Pink Bake Off competition and a book sale.
Samantha Brown, Communication Manager at Antalis, says: “We have been overwhelmed with the response from our employees and customers this year, and are extremely proud to have raised £4,500 for a great cause. The Wear it Pink Day was a great event for charity and a lot of fun for staff participating throughout all of our branches.”
