Digidelta, a specialist manufacturer of digital printing, decoration, visual communication, and textile materials, is delighted to announce that it will display its BIOND range of revolutionary 85% bio-based self-adhesive films for digital printing on booth #2435 at PRINTING United Expo 2025.
Taking place from 22 to 24 October at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, PRINTING United Expo is one of the leading events in the global print industry. The event plays host to a range of manufacturers and suppliers, with Digidelta exhibiting this year to connect with print professionals in North America and showcase the many benefits of BIOND.
Unveiled at the 2025 FESPA Global Print Expo in May, BIOND has generated significant interest over the past few months, with Digidelta recently launching the range on a global scale in response to this early demand. Now, professionals in North America can view the new range first-hand at PRINTING United 2025 and gain valuable insight into its core capabilities.
Designed with the environment in mind, BIOND is a new, groundbreaking, bio-based technology that will completely revolutionise large-format printing. BIOND has been crafted from vegetable-based products, with the aim of helping customers to evolve and diversify their offering while significantly enhancing their own environmental credentials.
This commitment and approach to sustainable, planet friendly production is supported with the option of water-based or solvent-free UV adhesive options. Both technologies have far less impact on the planet than other adhesives, thus further enhancing the environmental benefits of working with BIOND materials.
Crucially, while environmentally focused in nature, BIOND products behave and perform in the same way as traditional, PVC films, with the core difference being that BIOND solutions offers a far more sustainable option to both the customer and the end-user. As a result, it allows print service providers to work with new and existing customers on all manner of highly creative, yet sustainable, printed applications.
To ensure these high, environmental standards are met, Digidelta ensures all production of BIOND materials remains in-house. Digidelta operates out of a dedicated factory facility in Portugal, using processes that are 85% solar powered, keeping the footprint of production as low as possible. In addition, manufacturing is overseen by an expert team to ensure a high level of quality control and production efficiency, allowing Digidelta to deliver superior products to customers in a timely manner and at a cost-effective price.
The BIOND collection currently comprises three core ranges: Printing Films, Décor Films and Protection Films, all of which are now available to purchase in markets around the world. Each product range offers the same set of environmental credentials but have been developed as specialist solutions for use in different types of applications.
Printing Films are ideally suited to eye-catching applications such as vehicle decoration or outdoor installations across a wide range of surfaces. Meanwhile, Décor Films offer unprecedented creative
possibilities for interior transformation, while Protection Films are engineered to provide superior defence against wear and environmental factors, maintaining perfect clarity while delivering certified slip resistance.
For full transparency, Digidelta has set up a sustainability calculator, allowing customers to see how much of an impact switching to BIOND could have on their business. Users can input how much PVC vinyl they currently purchase and calculate the carbon dioxide savings they could make by making the move to bio-based BIOND materials.
Industry members can view the quality of these materials first-hand at PRINTING United Expo 2025, where Digidelta will be exhibiting on booth #2435 to showcase BIOND and speak with visitors about the benefits of working with this ground-breaking new solution.
“There is no doubt in our mind the BIOND will revolutionise sustainability in digital printing,” Armando Mota, CEO of Digidelta said. “The response we have had since unveiling the product at FESPA 2025 has been extremely positive and we are excited to be launching BIOND to the global market.
“We would encourage anyone wanting to view these solutions up close and to discover their potential to visit us at PRINTING United this October.”
