Epson has contributed to the FESPA Print Inspiration Rally to showcase some of the creative interior décor applications that can be produced using its range of SureColor series printers.
The Print Inspiration Rally is aimed at interior designers, architects and creative professionals, as well as PSPs, and takes the form of an American school bus decorated internally and externally with wide format print examples. Visitors will see a variety of applications on display including printing on paper, glass, wood and metal, textile, soft furnishings, ceramics and many more, demonstrating some of the exciting effects achievable with print.
Epson produced two wallpapers for the bus interior, printed on Digimura 2.1 TACTILE digital wallcovering paper, using the 64-inch Epson SureColor SC-S70600 wide format printer. The combination of Epson’s UltraChrome GSX Ink and proven Micro Piezo TFP printhead delivers clarity, fine detailing and smooth blends at resolutions up to 1440 x 1440dpi, adding a new dimension in quality, high-value print. Available in 8 and 10-colour versions, the SureColor SC-S70600 enables users to print vivid colours, solid whites and special metallic effects on a range of substrates such as wallcovering and photographic paper, canvas, vinyl and clear film.
With the increasing demand for more creative and personalised products the Print Inspiration Rally aims to inspire with a range of dye sublimation samples on display, including metal plates, coasters, tiles and iPad covers that have been printed on Epson’s 64-inch SureColor SC-F7100 digital dye sublimation transfer printer. The highly versatile SureColor SC-F7100 can be used to produce superb quality images with vibrant colours on a variety of hard surfaces, opening up new creative opportunities for designers who wish to produce their own products in small quantities and on-demand.
