The 2015 IPIA Recognition Awards are unique in that they recognise and promote the vital contributions made by companies and individuals that make up the Independent Print Industries Association and are of course true ‘Player’s Player Awards’ as they are voted for by the Membership.

The Award winners were announced at the IPIA Gala Dinner held in the VOX Centre at the new Resorts World venue at the NEC in Birmingham on 14th October.  Over 150 Members and guests attended, this the 25th Anniversary IPIA Gala Dinner, and the Awards for service and excellance were presented by special guest speaker Gerald Ratner, a British household name who drew on his experiences to speak with candour and wit about his incredible story of both success and failure!

The winners were:

  • Best Trade Manufacturer: Spin Print Solutions
  • Best Print Manager/Distributor: Liaison
  • Best Associate: Antalis
  • Personality of the Year: Lesley Graham, Wirralco

Marian Stefani, CEO said, “Our Members are the backbone of the UK print industry and these awards acknowledge their integrity and reliability. It was wonderful to see so many people attending the Gala Dinner this year. It had been a very busy day for the IPIA as we held our Meet the Trade Buyer event at The Print Show with over 50 buyers and suppliers getting together in a series of pre-arranged twenty minute appointments, so this was a chance to relax, continue the networking and enjoy music from an award winning band until late into the night!”

Kath Doran, Lady Chair of the IPIA echoed Marian’s remarks and said, “There is a camaraderie that is unique to the IPIA, and guests who come to our events for a good time are able to relax in a friendly atmosphere and network with like minds and key decision makers. Our Awards are also an important recognition of the contribution that our Members make to the print industry, and I would like to add my personal congratulations to all the winners.”
