ITL launches high power air-cooled LED curing at Expo Print 2018, Brazil

The new VZX offers ground-breaking 22W/cm² of super high dose UV output while bringing air cooled LED technology to performance levels only previously possible using water-cooling techniques.

UV curing innovator Integration Technology (ITL) is launching a new high dose air-cooled LED variant of its VZ series at this month's Expo Print 2018 show in São Paulo, Brazil (Stand 2142, Aisle 21; March 20-24).

The new VZX offers ground-breaking 22W/cm² of super high dose UV output while bringing air cooled LED technology to performance levels only previously possible using water-cooling techniques.

Especially suited to high speed single pass applications in inkjet, flexo, web offset graphics - as well as industrial - applications, the VZX combines and integrates ITL's XT8 array and VARIcool technologies, enabling users to achieve higher efficiency and more output in terms of both intensity and dose.
Ceramic LED module package XT8 utilises a hybrid semiconductor technology offering high-performing thermal properties and UV output increases of over 30% compared with more traditional LED without need for an additional driver current.

Key XT8 user benefits include faster curing with more usable UV energy and an extended service life allowing for higher speed and more demanding applications, improved cost-efficiencies and system working life, and comes with a five-year warranty.

Established in 2015 as the latest of many direct global ITLoffices, Integration Technology LAM is premiering this latest development along with a range of associated air and water cooled LED solutions in the VZ, MZ, SZ and SC.

ITL parent company IST-Metz will be co-exhibiting its ARCure MBS5Li & BLK products and the latest LEDcure systems. The two companies partner with foremost OEMs, integrators and print system developers throughout the world.

Expo Print is ITL's third exhibition in São Paulo in as many years. The company's successful local market penetration is measured by its domination of the digital sector in terms of locally manufactured UV LED-based printers adopting ITL technology, most notably its MZ and SZ systems.
Unlike many global suppliers, ITL offers local market maintenance and technical support to LAM customers.

"Core markets such as Brazil, Mexico and Argentina offer huge scope for ITL so it's only right that we should ensure that equipment repair and maintenance services are provided here in Brazil and not necessitating costly and time-consuming shipping to our headquarters in the UK", says ITL LAM business development manager, Edsel Lonza Jnr., who will be hosting the company's booth at Expo Print.
