Octink entered the category for the second consecutive year, after taking first prize at the 2015 Awards.
“We’re delighted to have been recognised in this category for the second year running,” comments Mike Freely, MD at Octink. “This acknowledgement confirms our dedication and creativity in this market sector.”
Octink entered four projects for its work in the out-of-home space, with the judges drawing particular attention to that of South Bank Place, where Octink created a perimetre branding scheme to highlight the future development’s features while also creating a strong brand impression. Octink’s solution included five 6 metre by 3.15 metre LED-illuminated digitally printed flex-face lightboxes above the hoarding, as well as three LED—illuminated digitally printed flex-face free-standing signs installed in prominent corners, all with visuals echoing the message on the hoarding. The judges commented: “Great use of substrates made this entry stand out.”
Mike concludes: “To be acknowledged in this space once again and for projects we’re very proud of, is a true testament to our hard working team and endorses Octink as a leading producer in the display graphics and signage sector.”
