Prisco has announced that it will be the only vendor at Graph Expo 2011 to conduct live demonstrations of the recently introduced HP Scitex LX850 wide format latex industrial inkjet printer.
According to Eric Gutwillig, PriscoDigital’s VP of Marketing, “Commercial printers must seriously consider adding wide format inkjet printing to capture new business opportunities from within their existing customer base. Inkjet systems can cost effectively produce diverse applications such as banners, Point-of-Purchase displays or promotional items that many of their customers already obtain from other sources. We are already helping many customers do just that and more. Since we are the exclusive Elite channel partner of HP Scitex for the large industrial systems within the commercial offset segment, we are able to offer our customers state-of-the-art wide format technologies.”
PriscoDigital will be exhibiting a host of profit-generating solutions from HP Scitex. The LX850 and LX610 Inks are the next steps in the evolution of wide format industrial inkjet printing utilising HP’s unique environmentally-friendly latex ink technology. The 126 in. (3.2 m) wide LX850 is a roll-to-roll inkjet system that produces high quality graphics with resolutions up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, directly on an extremely wide variety of paper, synthetic and fabric media. The HP Scitex LX850 can print a single roll of media at up to 1905 ft2/hour (177 m2/hr). The LX850’s dual-roll capability allows for simultaneous printing of two different jobs at the same time, at full production speed. Double-sided graphics can also be produced in register on almost any flexible substrate. In addition to accommodating all flexible media indoor applications, a wide range of durable outdoor applications can be produced without the need for solvent inks. The newly introduced LX610 Latex inks for the LX850 expand the colour gamut and allow for even more dazzling glossy results on banner media.
The planned live demos will include double-sided printing, backlit graphics and the ability to print on a wide variety of media types with superior results. There is no longer a need to use thermal-dye transfer to print on fabrics or use solvent based systems to print durable outdoor graphics when you own an LX850.
