Roland DG announces plans for Viscom Düsseldorf

Roland Viscom LFR

Four technology zones will again provide a unifying theme at the Roland DG stand at Viscom Düsseldorf. Visitors will be inspired by cost-effective printing solutions and innovative applications, presented in four separate zones. The Roland DG stand (Hall 8b, Booth H40-50) will feature current popular products as well as a number of new products being shown to the European public for the first time.

Roland DG is renowned worldwide for its high quality, highly efficient combined printers/cutters, which can create stickers, window decorations, labels, vehicle wraps, heat transfers and much more besides. At the Print & Cut zone, visitors will be given a demonstration of Roland’s high-end machines. The reliable production model, SOLJET PRO4 XR-640, will be on stand along with the immensely popular entry-level machines of the VersaCAMM series.

Visitors will find the latest large-format printers at Print Zone. These use the familiar Roland DG four-colour eco-solvent inks. Ideal for creating top-class posters, banners, billboards, backlits, displays, etc. At the exhibition, these printers will be operated with Rolandprintstudio, Roland DG’s extensive RIP package for Mac OS X.

Personalisation is a hot topic. The Personalisation Zone will offer visitors a number of new, amazing and highly profitable applications. Inspiration is guaranteed for all those looking for alternative sources of income. The VersaUV LEF-20 flatbed printer will be the centrepiece of this zone. It can print directly on a very wide range of substrates up to 100 mm thick, and can convert conventional material into personalised items.

The Texart sublimation printers and calender will be the showpieces of the Sublimation Zone. Together, these machines offer a simple and affordable solution for sublimation printing. Sublimation printing can be used to produce sportswear, fashion, gadgets, merchandising, soft signage and interior decoration. Please ask for your copy of the new Roland sublimation guide, which will introduce sublimation printing to you, and will highlight the commercial potential of large-format printing.

More information will be released at over the next few weeks.
