Sign & Digital UK has announced three new workshop sessions for this year’s Business Theatre, exploring key industry issues including soft signage, vehicle wrapping and efficient workflows.

The new sessions comprise:

  • An introduction to Soft Signage:  Mike Horsten, general marketing manager for Mimaki EMEA will explore the changing world of point of sale for retail business, as digital textile printing rapidly gains popularity in the market due to its flexibility and ease of use.  The session will cover the benefits and pitfalls for soft signage applications and offer suggestions for how it can offer new business opportunities.
  • Digital print – the fast track to creative vehicle wrapping:  This session, also delivered by Mike Horsten, Mimaki EMEA,  will explore the exciting new developments in commercial vehicle wrapping. Visitors will learn how their business could benefit from this new revolution in vehicle graphics and what they need to get started.
  • Why workflow is key for today’s Sign and Display printers:  As print engines increase in speed and technology, it is crucial to have an efficient production workflow to make the most of potential productivity gains. Representatives from Agfa Graphics and i-Sub will cover the importance of a dedicated workflow for the sign and display industry in their session ‘Why workflow is key for today’s Sign and Display printers’.  The workshop will also explain how cloud technology can improve productivity, focusing specifically on the benefits of the Asanti Storefront.

All seminar sessions will feature an interactive Q&A session.

Rudi Blackett, Sign & Digital UK event director, comments, “We are delighted to include these topical workshops to our already impressive educational programme at this year’s show. The Business Theatre also includes sessions on changing industry legislation, direct to garment printing, maximising PR, and digital printing for wall coverings.
