From now until May 22nd, the international D-sports’ “G’Oostende” event will take place at Oostende, Belgium, home town to Mutoh’s EMEA distribution centre Mutoh Belgium nv.  One of the highlights of this event will be Belgium’s first ever UCI Para-cycling Road World Cup.  The world cup will bring 350 para-cyclists from 35 countries to Oostende, for a total of 59 races and 180 medals.  Competition promises to be very intense, as several athletes will be trying to earn a place at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Wide-format printer manufacturer Mutoh sponsors the Road World Cup as digital print partner. Mutoh’s latest generation ValueJet X series sign and display wide-format digital printers produced a number of visual identity items related to the event, such as podium banners, start/finish arch prints, wraps prints for the time trial house, interview backdrops, metric boards, helmet stickers, race numbers, car stickers, and more. All prints were made on Grafityp digital print media and banner.

“Mutoh Belgium is extremely proud to be able to contribute to providing para-cycling the international platform and attention it deserves” says Akio Kotake, Mutoh Belgium’s Managing Director.  “Through the use of Mutoh wide format products, which are built to perform, Mutoh supports and encourages all athletes to demonstrate their ‘built to perform’ attitude in the races.  Together with you, we look forward to welcome the athletes in Ostend and… may the best win!”
