The industrial print industry gathered in Munich from 12 – 14 November 2019 for its leading exhibition of print technology for industrial manufacturing.
Gido van Praag, family man, enthusiastic blue-water sailor, Master Scuba diver & Divemaster, and marathon runner, is an industry veteran who spent over 30 years in the printing industry at Océ/Canon and HP in a variety of different roles.
As he prepares to retire, a highly respected sign industry stalwart has issued a rallying call to colleagues within the sector. Mike Hall, chair of the ISA-UK technical committee and member of the ISA-UK council, formally retires from his position at the end of December 2019 but is urging more sign professionals to get involved with the sign industry’s leading trade association.

The Royal Academy Schools officially launched its 250th anniversary celebrations on 13th November by hosting an exclusive launch event for friends of the RA Schools, students, artists, patrons and the media – an event that included a tour and private viewing of its Burlington House teaching and production facilities and its purpose-built state-of-the-art Epson Digital Media Suite.
