Following Roland DG (UK) Ltd.’s relocation to a new head office and the launch of the new Creative Centre in October 2014, Roland has announced that a virtual tour of its Creative Centre is now live on its website at http://www.rolanddg.co.uk/Tour.html?html5=prefer

The new Creative Centre – based in Clevedon, near Bristol – has been designed to showcase the vast range of applications made possible with Roland’s machines and highlight the markets that customers can sell into, alongside an array of fun, creative and new applications.

The Creative Centre links with the Roland DG Academy to highlight possible applications and the profit potential of Roland’s wide range of machines.  It showcases a plethora of business opportunities for sign makers, print and 3D professionals and others from across the visual communications industry.

Bringing together a collection of creative works from top Roland artists and craftsmen from around the world, the new Creative Centre aims to spark new business opportunities, encourage creativity and develop customers’ ideas.  With the new virtual tour now online, interested parties will be able to get a sneak preview of the centre prior to visiting!

The list of samples on display is vast, covering all of the key industry markets Roland DG serves including: signage, commercial print, packaging, labelling, garment decoration, promotional gifts, textiles, engraving, dental and 3D modelling.

From surfboards, beer pumps, guitar wraps and mini motorcycles to custom-printed suits, Russian dolls and arcade machine wraps, the Creative Centre spans a multitude of applications – all of which have been created using Roland technology.

In addition to being a vibrant playhouse of the print, textile, engraving and 3D industries, the space works as a demonstration suite and training facility alongside the Roland DG Academy.

On the Creative Centre and Virtual Tour, Brett Newman, Managing Director, Roland DG (UK) Ltd says: “Our state-of-the-art Creative Centre ensures we can continue to inspire all that visit, and now with the Creative Centre Virtual Tour those that aren’t able to visit in person can visit online and still benefit from the inspirational installation of print applications from wedding album covers and anamorphic floor graphics to a wrapped fridge! By visiting the Virtual Tour customers can see the potential within the Roland machines they already own along with options for future diversification, and the Roland DG team is always on hand to help make that a reality.”

Although the Creative Centre is already packed with fantastic profit-making ideas, there is always room for more. Roland continually searches for new and exciting applications created on Roland devices.  Email Joe Wigzell (jwigzell@rolanddg.com) for more information.
