Dufaylite has added Polyprop to its Ultra Board range, offering an incredibly strong and eco-friendly alternative to MDF and flimsy plastics for the signage, POS and printing industries.
Created using honeycomb technology, Ultra Board Polyprop is made entirely from polypropylene, one of the most easily recycled plastics on the market. With a honeycomb core and solid facings, the product is incredibly lightweight and rigid across the entire board – a unique structural property over other plastic and PVC materials.
Ultra Board Polyprop is set to be an innovation to the POS, signage and printing industries. Not only is it lightweight it also offers extreme durability and impact resistance, making it perfect for external applications which require a waterproof board. Its smooth surface is also an advantage to sign makers when printing. Boards with a fluted surface are less rigid and the fluting often shows through the print that can compromise the design.
Speaking on the new product, Ashley Moscrop, Dufaylite’s Group Director said, “We’re really excited to be broadening our Ultra Board range. The market has needed a product like Ultra Board Polyprop for some time as today’s industry professionals want more from their products – something recyclable that covers all bases. Using our renowned honeycomb technology, we’ve adapted our paper boards to create just that and we have every faith that Ultra Board Polyprop will be a success.”
