Flexa to showcase cutting and lamination solutions at FESPA

Flexa to showcase new cutting and lamination solutions at Fespa 2019.

In response to the growing demand of high performing machines for large productions, two new models of the automatic XY cutter will be presented: Miura Plus HD and Miura Plus Buffer.

1. Specifically designed to enable the cutting of media rolls till 400 mm of diameter, maximum 200 kg, the new Miura Plus HD perfectly matches with industrial large format printers working with semi-jumbo rolls. It can cut one roll up to 1.000 linear meters in 1 hour (productivity up to 1600 m2). Equipped with the edge control, the automatic vertical alignment system.
The machine will be demonstrated with the new Slimline lengthwise rotary crush cutter (single or twin). (optional).

The Miura Plus HD will be displayed with the new Motorized Stacker in line with the cutter. The table is fitted with a motorized feeding unit and the cutting of media can be done without the operator’s assistance. Height and inclination are electronically adjustable, length is extendible till 3,2 meters according to the length of cut sheets.

2. Developed for the in-line cutting the new Miura Plus Buffer has an integrated buffering system. It answers the need of speeding up the finishing process, directly cutting the printed media without the need of taking the roll up and move into a finishing device. It will be fitted with new scissor-style lengthwise cutters, with front-side edge.

New laminator solutions:

1. Easy Hot: constructed for hot and cold lamination it is equipped with single hot roller up to 120°C, useful to laminate the cardboard or to work specific materials that require hot temperature. The digital thermoregulator allows a very precise temperature setting.

2. New features of the Easy Lite laminator: the roller pressure display allows the operator to always have under control the pressure of the roller, according to the different media and working types (lamination, mounting on panels and others..). The “overpressure” (especially when mounting on panels) and the typical “smile” effect are avoided. The second new feature is the motorized lifting of the upper roller for an effortless and faster pressure adjustment (optional).
