To support the rebrand, Fujifilm held an exclusive Open House at Barberán’s HQ, debuting the Acuity Aristo HS6000 and HS3000 live.

Fujifilm has rebranded its HS Series single-pass inkjet platform as the Acuity Aristo, marking the platform’s evolution from a development-phase project to a commercially available high-speed inkjet solution.

To support the rebrand, Fujifilm hosted an invitation-only Open House event on 8–9 July 2025 at the Barcelona headquarters of its long-term development partner, Barberán. The select list of invitees were the first in the world to see both the Acuity Aristo HS6000 and HS3000 running live in production for the first time. The event also included guided demonstrations, technical briefings, and the chance to speak directly with Fujifilm’s development team. The HS6000 device on display at the event was then disassembled immediately afterwards and transported to Linney, in the UK, where it will become the first Acuity Aristo installation in the world.

The Acuity Aristo series is the result of a multi-year collaboration between Fujifilm and Barberán, a Spanish manufacturer with over 90 years of engineering expertise in high-performance, single-pass printing systems. Barberán is well known in the corrugated, signage and decorative print sectors, and its mechanical innovation forms the foundation of the platform. Fujifilm has led the development of the , a range of inks, and commercialisation strategy, bringing together industrial reliability with inkjet precision and versatility.

The rebrand brings the platform within Fujifilm’s respected Acuity portfolio, alongside the Acuity Prime and Acuity Ultra ranges, signalling the machine’s readiness for broader global deployment.

Oliver Mills, Barberán Project Marketing Manager, at Fujifilm Wide Format Inkjet Systems comments: “Rebranding the platform as Acuity Aristo marks a significant milestone, signalling its transition from R&D to a fully validated commercial product.” By combining Barberán’s mechanical engineering expertise with Fujifilm’s inkjet technology and ink development, we’ve created a powerful, production-ready platform for the ultra-high volume sign and display market. This Open House was the first time the full Acuity Aristo range was demonstrated live. It marked the beginning of an exciting next phase, as we move into installations, case studies, and wider market rollout.”
