swissQprint presented the second generation of its Karibu roll to roll printer at the Printing United Show in Las Vegas. By means of the latest print head technology, the Swiss manufacturer is taking UV roll to roll printing quality to a new level.
The Swiss developer and producer of high-end large format printers is celebrating its 15th anniversary. What began as a six-man operation has since blossomed into an internationally active company with 200 employees.
Hybrid presses can be defined as label presses that incorporate two or more printing processes (digital and conventional) in-line with finishing units (varnishing, spot color printing, slitting, die-cutting and different embellishment techniques).
The UK's first swissQprint Karibu roll to roll printer was installed at Muraspec Wallcoverings in late 2021. Since then, the Muraspec team has found it to be the perfect addition to its wallcoverings print fleet, as the Karibu's flexibility and productivity enables the development of new and enhanced products and services for clients.
Based in Blumenau, the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, Grafimax migrated to the label segment looking for new opportunities and chose the Durst Tau 330 RSC technology to produce labels in small and medium runs.
swissQprint will be present on booth C6415 at Printing United on October 19–21, 2022. The Swiss manufacturer is to exhibit new developments in high-quality UV flatbed and roll to roll printing.
