In a deal signed at FESPA, Cepac has purchased a Zund G3 XL3200 machine with rear extension and semi-automatic feeder. The UK-based Cepac business boasts one of the largest and most technologically advanced corrugated packaging plants in the world.

On the purchase of the new machine, Cepac’s managing director Sandra Margetts comments, “Being part of the Cepac group has enabled us to further expand our business in the 2D and 3D display markets.  The Cepac ethos is all about listening to customer needs and investing in technology which meets both their current and future needs. We are delighted to have identified Zund as a leading edge manufacturer and believe that this machine will significantly add to our successful business.”

The G3 from Zund owes it success to its robust Swiss build, modularity and flexibility. Users can specify the size, tooling and extensions in addition to semi automatic or automatic handling of substrates. Its’ workflow system, Zund Cut Centre v2, integrates seamlessly to ensure the smooth handling of materials and jobs in the workflow.
