Scotland-based distribution and logistics company Bullet Express has been trading for over 25 years. Part of the Pallex network, the company is connected to over 100 depots throughout the country and delivers throughout the UK, Ireland and worldwide.
For the past five years Bullet Express, has attended the Multimodal trade show, the UK and Ireland’s leading freight transport and logistics event. The show offers Bullet Express the opportunity to showcase its business, grow the brand, stand out from the competition, network with peers and keep up with market trends. This year’s show attracted over 7,000 visitors and, for Bullet Express, it was the most successful show to date with over 90 strong leads, despite a very dicey lead up to the show.
Bullet Express had commissioned a company to produce a bespoke exhibition stand but was told at the very last minute that – due to unforeseen circumstances – the stand wouldn’t be ready in time. With only a week to the show, Bullet Express was under extreme pressure to find an alternative solution. Bizarrely enough, the next day Bullet Express received a newsletter from Paul Turner Displays detailing recent exhibitions the company had successfully delivered for various clients. Craig Davidson, Sales Manager at Bullet Express immediately seized the opportunity and called Paul Turner Displays.
Craig comments, “Paul Turner listened carefully to our problem and very quickly came up with alternative solutions which were exceptionally appealing and could be delivered within the tight timescales. We went for a 3m x 3m curved pop-up system with matching roller banner stands. We were so relieved as we thought we would have to make use of our old stand, which we really didn’t want to do. Paul was enthusiastic, professional and so easy to deal with. He produced an extremely cost effective stand, well within budget and in time for the show. He even delivered the stand personally to our premises in Scotland.”
The event went incredibly well for Bullet Express and visitors complimented the exhibition stand on many occasions. The stand Paul produced can be reused again and again, in the same configuration or to fit alternative spaces, saving Bullet Express even more money.
