Zünd Plotting Systems (UK) will return to Advanced Engineering UK on November 2nd and 3rd (stand D43), showcasing its next-generation modular cutting equipment to professionals from a variety of markets.
Co-located with Aero Engineering 2016, Composites Engineering 2016, Automotive Engineering 2016 and Performance Metals Engineering 2016, the event at Birmingham's NEC will bring together delegates from the breadth of British manufacturing.
This makes it an ideal environment for a showcase of the Zünd D3 L3200 digital cutting table with a double beam. Launched this spring, the system's two beams can be fitted with up to three different modules each, without compromising precision or optimum workflow. It is designed to handle a wide gamut of materials up to 50mm thick, rapidly reducing production times and increasing productivity.
Demonstrating the modular design of Zünd equipment, the Zünd D3 will be fitted out with the tools most commonly used by the aerospace, automotive, defence and architecture sectors, but Zünd UK's team of experts will be on hand to explain the wealth of R&D and manufacturing applications suited to the system.
Zünd tables can be configured to meet the specific needs of a wide range of designers and manufacturers before installation, and retrofitted at a later date as needs change. A key element of this is their robustness: Zünd systems are designed to last for many years and many modifications.
"Automotive Engineering is always an important event for us as there are so many different markets, technologies and applications at play there," says Peter Giddings, Sales Director, Zünd Plotting Systems (UK) Ltd.
"The new Zünd D3 will be the core element of the Zünd UK stand (D43) and will demonstrate how our systems are built for maximum production and can be configured to meet the present and future demands of the show's visitors. Our team of experts will of course be available throughout the event to answer any questions and give advice on the ideal configuration of Zünd D3, S3 and G3 cutting systems for each business's needs."
