Ricoh announces winner of Ri 100 DTG printer competition

Coventry-based Scorpion Sportswear delighted to take delivery of new DTG printer package.

Ricoh UK Ltd has announced the winner of its ‘Win with Ricoh' competition. Coventry-based Scorpion Sportswear will soon be taking delivery of a brand new Ricoh Ri 100 direct-to-garment (DTG) printer package, which includes the Ricoh Ri 100 printer, print tray, heat tray and a full set of CMYK inks.

Scorpion Sportswear is one of the UK's preferred suppliers of sportswear and accessories for clubs, schools and colleges across the UK and beyond. Production is undertaken in-house to ensure end-to-end control of each order from the creation of artwork through to delivery of the finished garment.

Marc Lord, Manager at Scorpion Sportswear, comments: "We are delighted to have won the Ricoh Ri 100 DTG printer. It will be a great addition to our existing in-house print capabilities for personalising clothing, tote bags and promotional garments. There are many benefits of one-off personalised items to explore. We would like to thank Ricoh for their generous prize, and look forward to working with them."

The Ricoh Ri 100 entry-level solution for the personalised apparel market has a small footprint and simple print workflow - it's as easy to use as a standard desktop printer - but with lots of creative potential. In just minutes it can print colourful designs, bold slogans and even sharp photographs directly to T-shirts, sweatshirts, shopping bags, cushion covers and more, personalised for every customer.

It's compact and fast enough to offer a portable, reliable solution for events and exhibitions, or as a permanent addition to a retail shop or print business such as Scorpion Sportswear.
