Clarity sponsored the Make it Happen 'On the Frontline' session at The Sign Show 2025, boosting sales and strategy skills for attendees.

Clarity Software, a leading provider of management information systems (MIS) for the print and signage industry, had a busy and engaging time at this year’s The Print and The Sign Show. From hands-on demonstrations of its platform to conversations with both new and long-standing customers, the team gained valuable insight into the evolving needs of printers and signmakers.

As part of its commitment to supporting the industry, Clarity also sponsored the Make it Happen ‘On the Frontline’ training session at The Sign Show 2025. The session gave attendees practical skills to improve sales conversations, quoting, and strategic planning, which align closely with Clarity’s own mission to streamline business processes.

“The highlight for our team was meeting so many new faces,” said Sam Yarnall, Sales & Marketing Director at Clarity. “I never get tired of demoing Clarity’s features and then hearing people say, ‘This is exactly what we need, this will change how we run the business.’ That moment never gets old. It’s also brilliant when our existing customers stop by for a catch-up, as it really reinforces the community feel within the print and signage sector.”

The discussions on the show floor also revealed fresh insights into industry trends. “The demand for automation is stronger than ever,” Sam noted. “Printers and sign companies are scaling fast. They’re no longer just looking for basic quoting tools, they want end-to-end MIS solutions that streamline everything from estimating to production scheduling and customer management.”

Among Clarity’s features, the cost calculation tool proved a standout, impressing visitors with its integration across production planning and CRM capabilities. “When people see that, they realise Clarity is more than just an MIS. It’s a complete business control system,” Sam said. Interest was also high in Clarity’s upcoming artwork approval feature, which centralises sign-offs within the system, reducing reliance on lengthy email trails.

Events like The Print and The Sign Show give the Clarity team a unique opportunity to hear directly from the industry. “Printers and signmakers get off the shop floor and into a relaxed environment, and that’s when they really open up about operational challenges, whether it’s bottlenecks in quoting, scheduling, or proof approvals,” Sam explained. “Those conversations directly shape our product roadmap. It’s much harder to have those chats over email or phone when people are busy with production.”

Reflecting on the industry’s outlook, Sam is positive but realistic. “The energy in the industry is strong, but so is the competition. Companies need to quote accurately and respond fast or risk losing the job. That’s exactly where Clarity comes in, giving businesses the tools to stay profitable, efficient, and one step ahead.”

With strong interest in its software and meaningful conversations across the show floor, Clarity leaves The Print and The Sign Show 2025 better connected to the challenges and ambitions of printers and signmakers than ever.
