Digidelta, a specialist manufacturer of digital printing, decoration, visual communication, and textile materials, is delighted to announce that it will exhibit at PRINTING United Expo 2025, using the event to launch its new BIOND range of 85% bio-based self-adhesive films for digital printing into the North American market.
Taking place from 22 to 24 October at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, PRINTING United Expo is among the leading events in the global print industry. The annual event plays host to a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers, welcoming thousands of visitors from all corners of the globe.
This year, Digidelta will be in attendance on booth #2435, showcasing BIOND to the North American market. This ground-breaking, bio-based technology was unveiled at the 2025 FESPA Global Print Expo in May and has generated significant interest during the past few months.
Designed firmly with the environment in mind, with the long-term goal of evolving large-format print with nature’s touch, BIOND has been crafted from vegetable-based products, offering customers a truly environmentally friendly solution. This is strengthened further through the use of a water-based adhesive, with this technology having significantly less impact on the planet than other adhesives, while an eco-friendly and solvent-free UV adhesive option is also available to customers.
While very much environmentally focused in nature, BIOND materials still behave in the same way as traditional, PVC vinyl films. However, the critical difference is that BIOND is truly sustainable, with customers able to create environmentally conscious applications without having to pay a premium or compromise on quality.
Furthermore, Digidelta manufactures the product fully in house, making use of first-class facilities at its dedicated production site in Portugal. For BIOND, Digidelta uses processes that are 85% solar powered, further strengthening the material’s environmental credentials. In addition, production is overseen by the expert team at Digidelta, ensuring not only a high level of quality control over all materials that leave its specialist factories, but also excellent production efficiency, delivering products to customers in all regions in a timely manner.
On top of this, keeping production in house, rather than paying to outsource to a third party, means Digidelta can offer the product at a lower price point. As such, customers in North America will soon have access to a premium, revolutionary solution at an affordable price, with products currently available in three core categories: Printing Films, Protection Films and Décor Films.
Aside from BIOND, visitors to PRINTING United Expo 2025 will have the opportunity to learn more about the wider range of innovative solutions from Digidelta.
Among the other products on display will be Decal Bubble-Free, a product designed for easy use across high-performance applications. Like BIOND, this solution has been created in-house by the Digidelta team, ensuring the highest quality solution at a more competitive price point for customers.
The adhesive vinyl features air-escape technology, whereby air escapes from under the material when it is being applied. This allows for a much faster and cleaner installation, resulting in a far higher quality final finish than with other products available on the market. This superior installation process helps customers cut out mistakes, meaning users will see a huge improvement in the quality of applications and faster installations and overall cost savings, which in turn will allow them to turn a higher profit on each project.
Decal Bubble-Free is available in Polymeric Vinyl, Monomeric Vinyl, Glass Decor and PVC-Free Film formats, with each offering its own advantages for different applications. All products are available to customers in regions around the world.
Visitors can also learn more about Decal Dot Matrix, a new monomeric vinyl ideal for use in short-term projects. Easy to both apply and reposition, the product features a specialist dot matrix-style adhesive and combines the advantages of being removable and leaving no residues. The force of the glue adapts to each stage, allowing for the repositioning of the vinyl when applying while eliminating common vinyl issues such as wrinkling and bubbling. Adhesion then increases gradually over time to ensure the application remains in place for the entire campaign.
The same adhesive design makes it easier to remove the piece once it has reached its end of life – all without damaging the surface where it was installed or leaving behind unsightly and troublesome residue.
For further flexibility, Decal Dot Matrix features a double layer of PE liner, which protects the vinyl from humidity, thus eliminating common issues such as waving and curling during printing, finishing, installation and while the application is in place. In addition, the product is available in both clear glossy and white matte options, opening up more options for the user.
Finally, Digidelta will invite visitors at PRINTING United Expo 2025 to explore its range of laminates. The collection comprises Monomeric, Polymeric, PVC FREE and Floor Graphic laminate solutions, with each offering specific qualities and attributes to the user and all incorporating UV inhibitors, eliminating the silvering effect issue common with UV inks.
The Monomeric Lamination 70 mic (2.8mil) monomeric PVC film is the perfect product for short-term print protection. Featuring a high performance ultra-crystalline high tack adhesive, the solution offers protection against UV, scratches, abrasion and minor external aggressions, while maintaining excellent visual quality.
Digidelta’s Polymeric Lamination film can be used for enhanced durability and resistance, with strong adhesion properties suitable for both UV and latex printing. The solution offers greater resistance to scratches, abrasion and weathering.
Meanwhile, the Floor Graphics collection of laminates can be used to protect prints exposed to heavy footfall. Designed to withstand constant trampling without premature wear, the solution has been certified for anti-slip with an R10 rating, while being PVC-free makes it suitable for use in planet friendly projects.
“We are incredibly excited about attending PRINTING United Expo 2025 and meeting with industry professionals from across the North American market and further afield,” said Armando Mota, CEO of Digidelta. “While the launch of BIOND will be a key highlight, we are also eager to showcase our extended portfolio of products.
“With such a wide range of solutions available to view on our stand, we invite visitors to come and see how Digidelta can support their businesses in all manner of projects across a host of markets.”
