In 2026, Digidelta celebrates four decades, ready to support printers worldwide with innovative solutions and a range of applications

Digidelta, a specialist manufacturer of digital printing, decoration, visual communication, and textile materials, will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2026, with the company in a stronger position than ever to support print companies and distributors in regions around the world.

Digidelta: A Leader in Innovation, Tech, and Sustainability

A leader in innovation, technology and sustainability, Digidelta is a brand associated not only with high-quality print solutions, but also one that customers can depend on in terms of reliability and consistency across a wide range of printed applications.

Key to the success of the company over the past four decades has been its continued focus and investment in research and development, with tremendous industrial capacity at its disposal. This was recently further strengthened by expanding its factory in Torres Novas, Portugal from 10,000sq.m to 15,000sq.m, with Digidelta now ready to add to its already-impressive production capabilities.

Already in place at the specialist facility are four coating lines, 1,300 racks and five specialist slitters, producing 75 million square metres of materials each year. Add in jumbo conversion capacity of 100 million square metres per year and 75 million square metres in annual automated packaging, and Digidelta’s manufacturing strengths shine through.

Decal: A Standout Solution Celebrating 16 Years in 2026

Among some of the stand-out solutions that come out of the factory is Decal, which will also reach a major milestone in 2026 when it celebrates its 16th anniversary. The Decal collection comprises materials for use across key areas such as sign and graphics and interior design applications, thus helping customers to create a diverse range of stunning printed output.

Also from Digidelta is BIOND, the latest result of its long-term continued commitment to innovation and R&D. Designed with the environment in mind, BIOND has been crafted from bio-based products but behaves and performs in the same way as traditional, PVC vinyl films. This means users do not have to compromise on quality to offer their customers a more sustainable service at an affordable price.

However, Digidelta’s expertise is not limited to materials, with the company also able to provide its customers with access to high-end hardware solutions. Among its range are machines from leading manufacturer Mimaki, with Digidelta serving as the official distributor for Mimaki across Portugal and Spain.

Another factor behind Digidelta’s impressive growth during the past four decades has been its focus on supporting and connecting with customers not only in its native Portugal but further afield in other countries.

Global Success: Digidelta in 60+ Countries and Counting

Such has been the success of this that the company now works with partners in over 60 countries, spanning Europe, Latin America and the US. This has seen its export share increase to an impressive 62%.

A critical part of this global growth has been an ongoing commitment to quality customer service, with this supported by showrooms and commercial and technical teams away from its primary site in Torres Novas. Digidelta has specialist facilities in Lisbon, Famalicão and Faro Portugal, as well as further locations across Iberia in Madrid, Barcelona and Seville in Spain.

To further support its ongoing international expansion strategy, Digidelta continues to seek out new local partnerships and exclusive distribution partners, while it also regularly participates in major industry events such as the FESPA Global Print Expo and PRINTING United to spread awareness of its market-leading solutions.

As the company enters its 40th year in business, the appetite for further innovation, expansion and success is larger than ever. Investment into R&D will continue throughout 2026 and beyond while valuable, local partnerships will be formed in more countries worldwide, as Digidelta’s position in the global printing market goes from strength to strength in terms of innovation, technology and sustainability.
