Datateam has acquired the assets of Link Publishing and Link Exhibitions, bringing SignLink, Print Monthly and shows to Koru Media.

Datateam has acquired the assets of Link Publishing & Link Exhibitions, bringing the SignLink and Print Monthly magazine titles, along with The Print Show and The Sign Show exhibitions, under the ownership of Koru Media Limited.

The transaction covers the brands only and does not include Link Exhibitions UK Ltd or Link Publishing Ltd, which remain separate entities.

There will be no changes to this year’s print and sign shows, scheduled to take place in September. The existing Link Exhibition  team will remain in place and continue to operate from the Bristol office, with day-to-day operations continuing as normal.

For customers, the only immediate change will be that invoices will now be issued under the name Koru Media. Koru Media sits within the Datateam Business Media Ltd group, which initially led to some confusion around the acquisition structure.

Both Signlink and Print Monthly will also continue to operate independently throughout the year, as they have done previously.

Indeed there are currently no stated plans to make changes to either the exhibitions or the magazines – although it’d be natural to expect that some streamlining will be necessary and perhaps inevitable.
