William Smith has expanded its VION range with the launch of VP1, a monomeric vinyl developed specifically for short-term promotional applications. The new film broadens the portfolio further, giving printers and sign-makers a cost-effective option for projects where lifespan, budget and visual impact all play an important role.
VP1 is designed for one-year applications, making it well suited to point-of-display graphics, exhibitions, retail promotions and decals. By focusing on short-term performance, the film is offered at a significantly lower price point than polymeric alternatives, while still delivering reliable print quality and ease of use.
For busy print environments, consistency is key. VP1 delivers a clean, bright white surface that supports vibrant colour reproduction across a wide range of print technologies, including eco-solvent, solvent, UV and latex. The gloss finish helps graphics stand out in high-traffic settings, while the film is available with either a removable grey adhesive for clean removal at the end of a campaign, or a permanent adhesive where a longer-lasting bond is required.
Short-Term Promotional Vinyl for Print Production
The lay-flat polycoated liner has been designed with production in mind, supporting reliable liner release for contour cutting and decal work. Available in 1520mm and 1370mm roll widths, with a 50-metre roll length, VP1 is easy to integrate into existing workflows.
