Exhibition stands and live events company Envisage Spaces Group (ESG) has set its sights on growth within the standalone graphics market after investing in a new Solent Texsew Conveyorline from Soyang.
Operating across locations in the UK, US, UAE and Spain, ESG has been providing complete solutions for customers in the exhibitions and events sector for more than 40 years. The company designs, manufactures, installs and stores exhibitions for clients across various sectors, while it also delivers a range of high-end retail projects, from window displays to full shop fitouts.
As ESG works with clients around the world, there is no margin for error, with graphics and displays needing to fit correctly first time on installation. As a result, the company is constantly on the lookout for ways to further strengthen its production setup by upgrading its existing technology or investing in new machinery. It was this approach that led ESG to invest in the new Solent Texsew Conveyorline, taking delivery of the device from Soyang Europe in early May 2026.
“We installed the machine to improve both quality and production time,” said Luke Culpin, Graphics Manager at ESG. “The Solent device gives us further confidence to ensure that we get it right first time, every time, for our customers around the world.”
The Solent Texsew Conveyorline is an automated sewing and finishing system that is ideal for soft signage, exhibition graphics, banners and other textile applications. The solution has a Durkopp Adler 827 sewing head capable of up to 3,800 stitches per minute and a 3m-long synchronised conveyor, as well as other features such as automatic silicone edge graphics (SEG) feeding, cutting and insertion functions, material edge detection and automatic thread trimming.
Soyang support backs ESG expansion plans
Since installation, ESG has primarily been using the new system to produce SEG graphics, reporting a “massive” improvement in both speed and accuracy. What is more, Luke said that the solution has strengthened ESG’s ability to expand this SEG graphics offering further, with the company seeking to bring in graphics work from both new and existing clients.
“Over the coming months, we expect to bring in additional clients purely for graphics work, expanding a part of the business that has traditionally focused on producing graphics for our own projects,” he said.
“The machine has proved to be a fantastic asset when we are under time pressure; we now know we can turn graphics around in record time with no issues at all.”
Luke was also keen to pay tribute to Soyang for its support throughout the entire process; from the initial demonstration stage through to installation and aftercare.
“Both Soyang and Solent were fantastic in offering an on-site demonstration, alongside plenty of information around the machine,” he said. “It was a top-notch service, and I’d highly recommend them to anybody. Not only does Soyang have fantastic product knowledge, but also a wide range of materials and a clear understanding as to how they behave with different pieces of equipment.”
